We do not use recycled polyester as it’s made from crude oil and releases microplastics.
It’s a short-term solution to a long-term problem. But it’s a step in the right direction.
Microplastics are released into the ocean from washing your clothes that have synthetic materials in them, like polyester.
The same applies to cotton but fortunately, it’s natural and biodegradable.
And being organic it doesn't have any nasty chemicals in it.
