I suppose this is where “Our Story” and the human behind
Gloom Moon should be explained.
Hello, I'm Max.
I like nature, always have.
I wanted to find a job where I could be in the wild and enjoy everything the environment had to offer.
To be honest it never really happened.
I spent my 20s volunteering for NGOs and working factory jobs
to sustain that lifestyle.
As an aspiring marine biologist and avid conservationist, I found myself once again unemployed, looking for work but this time with the added
bonus of being in a pandemic.
Fortunately, I was inspired by the dearest people in my life
to make my own luck.
We wanted to create garments that could be worn for coffee catch-ups on city streets, doused in perfume for that long-awaited first date, beer-drenched from last nights outrageous house party, chalked-up on limestone boulders with old friends, or full of sand from your solitary dawn surf sesh.
So we did.
Yes, we love fashion, like many, but we realised that ethical and
sustainable tees that actually look cool are rare.
As you might know, the fashion industry is the second-worst polluter after oil. So we want to change that.
Gloom Moon is purely a platform to do good.
To go beyond and create a better world.
Our success will be measured by the good we do.
So buy my shit, please.
But don't because you probably don't need another tee.
But if you're going to buy one, it might as well be from Gloom Moon.
